General Information

Please note that all travelers to Australia (other than Australian citizens and most New Zealand passport holders) must apply for and obtain a visa prior to travelling to Australia (including transiting at Australian airports). However, Australia’s modern electronic visa system does not require you to have a visa label placed in your passport to confirm your immigration status and entitlements in Australia. When you check-in for a flight to Australia, airline staff will use your passport to electronically confirm that you have an authority/visa to travel to Australia prior to boarding the aircraft. See: About Your Visa.

The information in English on this website is intended for clients in Israel. While the visa requirements for Australia are the same wherever an application is lodged, local processing procedures may vary. Please read all relevant information on our website and the website of the Department of Home Affairs before contacting our office. The information and application forms are provided there free of charge. If, after reading the information on our websites and forms, you require professional advice on the class of visa you should apply for or your chances of obtaining a visa, you should consider using the services of a registered migration agent (See: Migration Agents Registration Authority).

Some of the registered migration agents are fluent in local languages, such as Hebrew, Arabic and Russian. Please confirm the registration of your migration agent by checking their details on the above website.
