Current Australian Passport Fees: From 1 January 2026
An overseas passport application surcharge applies for all passport applications submitted at the Embassy. The surcharge is currently AUD 189 (NIS 391) for all adult passport applications and AUD 92 (NIS 191) for all child applications (under 18 years). Payment can be made by credit card, cash (NIS only) or by personal or post office cheque (NIS only). Please note that all credit card payments are made in AUD and all credit card receipts are issued in AUD. If paying in cash (NIS) please bring the exact amount. The Embassy does not have change!
Please note that Passport Fees may change on the first day of each month depending on exchange rate variations.
Adult Passports:
AUD 422 (NIS 874) + surcharge AUD 189 (NIS 391)
Total: AUD 611 (NIS 1265)
Minor Passports: (under 16 years):
AUD 213 (NIS 441) + surcharge AUD 92 (NIS 191)
Total: AUD 305 (NIS 632)
Children aged 16 and 17 are eligible for 10 year adult passports:
Adult fee AUD 422 (NIS 874) + child surcharge AUD 92 (NIS 191)
Total: AUD 514 (NIS 1065)
Seniors aged over 75 years also have an option of obtaining
a 5 year validity passport.
Seniors fee AUD 213 (NIS 441) + adult surcharge AUD 189 (NIS 391)
Total: AUD 402 (NIS 832)
Fees must be paid at the time of lodging the application.
